Language Immersion

This week has been so exicting, well for language nerd me. I have adopted a few Japanese words and phrases into my regular use. 25 points for immersion!
This week I began regularly and easily using: oishi--delicious, hai--yes (I use this almost constantly--just like the Japanese), sugoi--great! (probably my second most often used), and Ohayo gozaimasu--good morning.

I have been regularly using sumimasen--excuse me or I'm sorry, and Arigato gozaimasu/gozaimashita--thank you.

I am working on adding:
itadakimasu--a before meal thanks
Gochisou sama deshita -- after meal thanks
Tadaima--what you say when you return somewhere, similar to "Honey, I'm home"
Okaeri--welcome back
Ittekimasu--to say when you leave
Itterashai--to say when someone is leaving
ichi, ni, san, shi, go--1,2,3,4,5
